First journal of this blog.

I have been in doubt for a long time if and why I would start a blog. It's not like I have a really important message to the world. The reason I did start this blog, is that it makes my thoughts clearer when I write, and there are so many changes in my life lately, that some of them I want to share with anyone who might be interested.
Since january/february this year I've started drawing and painting after 25 years and I really like it!! It makes me able to shut out the world, it's really ME-time.
So far my motivation for starting this blog.

Today was a beautiful sunny day and I planted a lot of pansy's, lilac flowers (don't know the name) and geraniums. The springflowers I've planted a few weeks ago are now all in bloom. Lovely sight all those colours!!

Also started a drawing or watercolor painting (dont know yet) of a scene after a fight between rebels and the army in the slums of Nairobi. The president of Kenia - Kibaki - was accused of electionfraude. Kibaki is still  president and approximately 1500 people got killed in the fights.
Have finished the drawing and tonight am going to mix colors for the background and paint it perhaps.
